The Ashwood neighborhood of Bellevue has enough residential projects in the works to more than double its population, according to city Planning Director Dan Stroh.
More than 1,000 apartments and condos are under construction and another 636 are planned for the area, which now has about 1,500, Stroh said. Almost 1,900 people live there now, and more than 4,000 will when the new projects are done.
