Downtown Seattle and Bellevue office rents jumped about 30 percent in 2007, largely driven by new institutional owners who have boosted rates to reflect the high prices they paid for buildings, Cushman & Wakefield reports.
Seattle office rents began 2007 at $26.71 a square foot for all classes of space, and $29.61 for Class A space. They ended the year at $34.18 and $38.51, respectively, Cushman said in its fourth quarter market report.
