City University has been in the market for office space in Seattle for at least several months and a source close to the deal says the school will make an announcement soon.
The buzz has been that the university would end up in Amazon.com's former headquarters in the distinctive art-deco tower that crowns Beacon Hill. We've also heard that City — one of the of Northwest's largest, private, not-for-profit universities — is eyeing 705 Union Station at the edge of the International District. Amazon coincidentally occupied that building too, before moving to South Lake Union.
