She has worked on the design, development and construction of commercial projects for more than 11 years. She previously worked for Quadrant on office and build-to-suit projects.

Ken Pick joined the Kirkland office of Penhallegon Associates as a senior project manager for the company's municipal department. Pick has 13 years of experience in planning, design and construction management for water and sewer utility projects. He is working on pressure zone modifications for Maple Valley and water main replacement in Cross Valley.
Linda Scott joined the company's Seattle office as a senior planner. She has more than 20 years experience in environmental, municipal, capital and facilities planning, and is assisting with a sewer plan for Penn Cove Water District and a wastewater plan for the city of Sedro Woolley.

Scott Barringer is the first business manager for Tacoma architects BCRA. Barringer was director of information services at OCLC/WLN in Lacey. He studied at the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds degrees in organizational management and computer science. BCRA has three design studios that offer land use planning, sustainable design, civil engineering and interior design services. A recent project was the Albers Mill historic renovation on the Thea Foss Waterway.

After 14 years of co-owning his own firm, Portland architect
Gary Larson has joined MulvannyG2 Architecture. Larson will work on design, master planning and business development for the Portland office, and mentor younger staff. He begins work on a 26-story mixed-use project in downtown Portland. MulvannyG2 is headquartered in Bellevue and has 375 employees in Portland; Irvine, Calif.; Washington, D.C.; and Shanghai.

TBE Group, a subsurface utility engineering and utility coordination consulting and engineering firm, promoted
Russ Norton to assistant director. Based in TBE's Kent office, Norton will continue as senior project manager for utilities operations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Norton worked for the Oregon Department of Transportation. TBE offers subsurface utility engineering and utility coordination services throughout the Northwest. It is headquartered in Clearwater, Fla.

Tacoma architects BCRA added senior project architects
Terry Bills and
Lawrence Houston. Bills has more than 17 years experience in architectural design. He is working on predesign of a building on Central Washington University's campus. He was project manager for a $36 million high school in Redmond and for renovation of historic warehouses in downtown Tacoma. Houston focuses on educational and religious buildings, as well as historic renovations. He is working on design projects for Charles Wright Academy in University Place. BCRA works on land use planning, civil engineering and sustainable design.
Group Mackenzie, a regional architecture and engineering firm, announced Matthew Butts was licensed as a professional engineer in Washington. Butts led public infrastructure projects such as improvements to Thompson Road in Washington County and site design at the Argyle Square development in Wilsonville, Ore. His licensure in Washington will support the firm's expanded engineering practice through a new Vancouver office, which opened in early May. Group Mackenzie provides architectural, engineering and planning services throughout the Pacific Northwest, with offices in Portland, Seattle, Tacoma and Vancouver.
Mike Delles, an engineer with more than 30 years experience in consulting engineering services, business management and sales, has been promoted to vice president, Northwest regional manager for Kleinfelder. He will lead and manage operations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Delles has served as project engineer and project manager on major transportation and general civil engineering projects throughout the Northwest. His experience includes strategic planning, marketing and sales, contracting, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational design. He is registered professional engineer in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona. Kleinfelder is an employee-owned consulting company that provides geotechnical engineering, environmental science, program and construction management, and materials testing throughout the western and mid-western United States.
Zipper Zeman Associates announced Edwardo A. Garcia has obtained his Professional Engineering license in Washington. Garcia has nine years of geotechnical engineering, material testing and construction monitoring experience in Washington and Arizona. He works on foundation design, slope stability analysis and construction monitoring. Zipper Zeman Associates provides environmental consulting and engineering geology services. It has offices in Lynnwood, Seattle and Tacoma.
Bellevue-based CollinsWoerman Architects hired Michael Takeo Saito as a project architect. Saito was with Salmon Bay Design Group, Mulvanny Partnership and Duarte Bryant Architects. He holds a bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Oregon. CollinsWoerman also hired Jamey Barlet and Cary Guenther as project managers. Barlet was project architect and project manager for JPC Architects. Guenther was a staff architect for Klappenbach Architects.
