Zack Stockton as a senior engineer and project manager. Stockton has experience in direct digital controls and is working on data center and school district projects. The firm also hired

Tyler Carlson to associates. Maluda has more than 20 years of experience in architecture, planning and construction administration. He previously was director of facilities management at Harborview Medical Center. Maluda is working as a project manager on the $400 million Good Samaritan Hospital expansion in Puyallup. Carlson is a project designer with more than 14 years of experience on health care, institutional and civic facilities. Carlson's recent projects include the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital expansion, Good Samaritan and Wellspring Medical Center in Woodburn, Ore.

Bill Engle as principal and group design leader. Engle has experience in large commercial projects, including retail, office, hospitality, mixed-use, and residential projects and will help to strengthen the firm's presence in Southern California. Engle's past projects include Shanghai's Grand Gateway, a 3.1-million-square-foot mixed-use project, and Salt Lake City's City Creek Center, a multi-million dollar urban redevelopment.

Deng Chau has as an intern architect and
Pei Yu Lin as office manager. Chau is working on the Cle Elum Ranger Station expansion project for the U.S. Forest Service and the Chinatown Wellness Plaza, an eight-story mixed-use building in the International District. Lin previously worked as an account coordinator for an East Asian exporting company.

Specializing in large-scale, mixed-use projects, Yuan has led teams on the Schnitzer Fifth and Madison tower, WaMu Center, expansion of the Seattle Art Museum and Pacific Place. Lee has 40 years of design experience and is a leader in the health care practice. Lee's past projects include the University of Washington Surgery Pavilion, Southwest Washington Medical Center and Banner Gateway Medical Center. Whitaker has been an architect at NBBJ since 1989. His past projects include the Virginia Mason Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center and Southwest Washington Medical Center.
Mark Palmer has joined the Tacoma office of KPFF Consulting Engineers. Palmer, a civil engineer, previously owned a civil engineering company in Tacoma. His areas of expertise include parks, commercial, institutional, residential and civic projects. He also has designed low impact development projects with a particular emphasis on porous pavement applications.

Gerry Pless to associate. Pless joined TCF Architecture in 2006 and has 22 years of experience, specializing in schools. Tom Bumstead is a fisheries engineer with more than 25 years of experience. Bumstead is working on stream restoration for the Big Gulch sewer replacement in Mukilteo, designing Chief Joseph Hatchery’s fish ladder near Bridgeport and intake screens for the acclimation ponds near Riverside and Omak.
Russell Mau has more than 15 years of experience and is working on performance evaluation of the Elliott West CSO Facility and evaluation of a CSO bar screen facility in Des Moines, Iowa.
Victoria Bruder is assisting Tetra Tech’s Electrical and Controls Group with CADD production.
Brad Frayo joins Tetra Tech’s controls group, working on Lake Whatcom telemetry upgrades and lift station start ups, Alderwood Water District telemetry upgrades and design projects for King County.
Agnes Ho has worked as a civil engineer on a range of projects, including drainage and civil design for light rail, stormwater comprehensive plans, mine site restoration, and watershed protection measures. She is working on Bellevue’s Lake Sammamish culvert repairs system analysis and the Coal Creek bank stabilization and water quality monitoring programs.
Joan Montgomery has 16 years of experience in civil engineering. She is providing site civil engineering for the Operations Building and Transit Police Facilities of King County Metro’s Atlantic/Central Base Expansion program.

Beth Jensen as a senior structural engineer. Jensen has 23 years of experience and her most recent experience includes mixed-use, multi-family, retail, condos and single-family residences. Jensen is currently working on the Evergreen Space Museum in McMinnville, Ore., a boutique hotel in California and condo projects in the Seattle area.
