Each team had to build a 26-foot-long brick wall in one hour with as few technical errors as possible. Ten teams of brick masons and tenders participated.
Local masons used brick and mortar to show off their skills at the 2011 Spec Mix Bricklayer 500 Regional competition earlier this month at the Western Washington Trowel Trades Training Center in Seattle.
