On the Block: $2.1M sale, for tiny Fremont parcel, has larger significance

A very small but crucial property at 3837 Stone Way N. sold last week for $2.1 million, according to King County records. It was the first of two linked deals. The seller was 3837 Stone Way N LLC, which acquired the property in 2019 for $950,000.

That LLC is associated with Sea Creatures, which has its headquarters in the former Episcopal Bookstore building. The company is run by acclaimed chef, author and food entrepreneur Renee Erickson, of The Walrus and the Carpenter, The Whale Wins, General Porpoise and other eateries and culinary ventures.
