Former Microsoft research head Nathan Myhrvold has always been good for colorful activities, from moonlighting as a guest chef at Rovers to a one-week fly fishing jaunt in Mongolia. He attended a three-week Parisian cooking school, raced cars, and tried bungee jumping and skydiving.
Myhrvold also digs dinosaurs. He published an award-winning paper in 1998 with paleontologist Philip Currie about dinosaurs' ability to snap their tail like a whip to send out warning calls.
