The owners of the Kress Building in the heart of downtown Seattle say they'll attempt a little social engineering in replacing Nordstrom as the terra cotta building's main office tenant.
The three-story structure is on the southwest corner of Third Avenue and Pike Street, in what building co-owner Paul Esekston labels an unacceptably down-on-its-heels gap between the revitalized retail core to the east and the bustling Pike Place Market to the west.
