Real Estate Buzz: Centex buys Trossachs site for condos

Dallas-based Centex Corp. bought 18.8 acres in Sammamish -- on which to build 174 condos -- from developers of the Trossachs master-planned community.
Centex is known in the Puget Sound area as a builder of single-family homes, but the Fortune 500 company has built numerous multi-family projects elsewhere.
