Principal: Robert Foley
"We’re able to manage competing deadlines a little better than last year," said principal Robert Foley, who is on the faculty of the landscape architecture department of the University of Washington in addition "but I just see much more work coming in. We will be adding someone soon." "There’s been a big expansion in multi-family residential and mixed-use projects. But it’s very important not to specialize in a project type. We’re actively trying to get back into recreation and environmental work," he said. Foley has been watching with interest the different ways landscape architects work with other design professionals. Landscape architects seem to be working as primary consultants more often in other regions, he said, but here in the Northwest there is a keen appreciation of the contributions of landscape design. This year, the firm has been at work on Ciel Cohousing Community, Medina Creek Enhancement Project, Northwest Federal Credit Union at VA Hospital Campus, Brandon Court mixed use development, Brooks Village residential community, and numerous private residences.
