Seattle is a magnificent city. It has economic power, a scenic setting and a strategic location on the West Coast. I have visited many beautiful areas around the world, and Seattle, surrounded by lakes and mountains, ranks high.
There is only one black mark against the city: limited transportation choices. This fault lies at no one's feet, for at root it is caused by geography, a city constrained between shores. Buses do a valiant job in attempting to transport commuters, but population growth has clogged streets, which buses must negotiate.
