The unnamed Colman Tower investor who brought New York architect Charles Gwathmey into the proposal is Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz.
Colman Tower site owner John Goodman confirmed that Schultz had intended to be the 13-story building's financial backer, and that Shultz has backed out, but the project can still happen.
