Intracorp geared up last year for more growth than has occurred this year, so it recently laid off a dozen administrative staff and another dozen construction employees, said President Mike Miller.
"It had something to do with the market slowing, and that we had some projects finishing," said Miller. "We anticipated last year that the market would expand and we geared up for that. Now we've determined it won't expand as much as we hoped. ... It's more like business as usual."
