Quadrant Corp. paid the Merlino brothers $11.4 million for 75 acres of former gravel pit land in Renton on which to build another 531 single-family homes in Quadrant's Liberty Ridge subdivision, King County property records show.
Quadrant built and sold 134 homes on a separate, adjacent site on Northeast Third Street for a project it called Liberty Ridge.
