Jennifer Putnam-Patrone is a driving force behind safety excellence at Lewis. Starting her career as a carpenter more than 25 years ago, she brings unmatched field experience and credibility to her role as safety manager.
Known for her mentorship and clear communication, Putnam-Patrone ensures crews understand new rules and regulations, patiently guiding teams through complex changes. She led the successful transition from hard hats to Type II helmets across Washington, organizing demonstrations and building buy-in through education.
Putnam-Patrone also spearheaded compliance with Washington’s new crane regulations, creating clarity for crews and earning recognition from AGC for her leadership. Her innovation includes developing an AI tool to accelerate “Lessons Learned” case studies, strengthening knowledge sharing company-wide.
With multiple safety certifications, a CSP credential, and a passion for teaching, Putnam-Patrone sets the standard for safety leadership combining technical expertise, compassion and a relentless commitment to protecting people.
